The ACE Culture and MEPC

Achieving Competitive Excellence or ACE is a company operating system used to for improving and sustaining quality and productivity, translating to customer value. At MEPC the ACE culture has been embraced and widely applied throughout the years in the production cells. MEPC has utilized ACE tools such as Relentless Root Cause Analysis (RRCA), process Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Quality Clinic Process Charts (QCPC), Market Feedback Analysis (MFA), and mistake proofing in establishing and continuously improving the production and business processes.

With such efforts and continuous support from Pratt & Whitney, MEPC strives to achieve an ACE Supplier rating of Gold in 2010 and implement ACE lean processes throughout the business. Implementation of the ACE culture through use of the ACE tools has allowed MEPC to reach many operational and productions milestones and to do it safely. In January, 2010 MEPC was awarded EH&S Superior Performance Award for 7 years of operation injury free from Pratt & Whitney.
