MEPC had a very successful year in 2009 and now looks continue that success in 2010 and at is on the horizon for 2010 and beyond. Expansion and growth are the key focal areas. MEPC looks to the future to be the premier engine MRO provider in the Middle East region with expansion into other engine MRO services while growing its current product line. MEPC has started to lay the foundation required to realize this vision by starting development of T56 and PT6 turboprop MRO capabilities, working on achieving ACE Supplier Gold in 2010, and starting construction on a new and larger facility. The new facility will nearly triple current capacity at 18,000 square meters and provide additional capabilities required for the expansion. Phase 1 of 3 of construction is underway for the new facility with an expected completion in mid-2011.
